My first encounter with the Web was in 2000, and very soon I created my first "homepage" in FrontPage. Later on I dedicated myself to learning every aspects of web development: html, graphics design, css, javascript, java, php, database, ajax, and all others that I haven't mastered yet. It took me many years to get to this point, where I can pretty easily and accurately express myself through the Web, with original graphics, layouts, and interactions etc., yet there are still endless things I am interested in and want to be good at.

In recent years I found myself fasinated by usability and user experience topics, partly due to the realization that I am constantly criticizing myself and my surroundings (for potential of improvment).

I graduated from University of Toronto in 2008 and am working in Boston.

I photograph beautiful things, most notably myself. I know it’s narcissistic, but the first part was my goal, yet the second part was the result, thus the conclusion. Other than that, my favorite subject is landscape. I retouch photos heavily and believe art has no rules. I found photography a great way to express myself, especially my subconscious thoughts.

Recently I was greatly influenced by a book titled Perception and Imaging. It lead me onto the road of fine art photography.

I have a D80.

I’ve been a fan of martial arts since childhood and am a blue belt of Taekwon-Do. Like Bruce Lee, I believe martial artists shouldn’t be limited to any certain form, so I take my time to learn as many techniques as possible.

Unfortunately I’ve been slacking off recently. In spite of that, I feel energetic each time coming back from intensive training. I found it a whole new way to express myself.

I was at Beaches TKD school in Toronto, and am at Jae Hun Kim TKD school in Boston.
